The welds of T-joints are prone to fatigue cracking owing stress concentrations and welding residual stresses. Previous studies investigated the crack propagation rate using numerical simulations; however, most employed two-dimensional models ignored effect In this study, reliable temperature fields were obtained through simulations verified experimentally. effects stresses on then under different loading conditions. field caused direction shift towards web accelerated speed with increasing displacement loading.
